    • Review of infection control data with the infection control practioner, hospital epidimiologist, facility engineer, and risk management.
    • Inspection of the building envelope to include potential moisture intrusion points.
    • Review of the past constuction and renovation activity.
    • Review and inspect portable water and sanitary sewer systems.
    • Review and inspect facility HVAC systems to include filtration, air exchange rates, and pressure relationships.
    • Collecton and analysis of appropriate surface,air, and/or water samples for biological analysis.
    • Preparation of final report and outbrief with hospital leadership.

  2. USP Chapter <797> - Conduct pre-construction audit and consulting regarding what is needed to bring your facility into compliance. Conduct environmental monitoring (particle counts and microbial counts)
  3. Infection Control and Risk Management Outsourcing - Management of environmental infection control and related risks during and prior to healthcare renovation and construction activities. We develop project specific infection control procedure manuals and conduct infection control project management, environmental monitoring, and testing
  4. Health hazard exposure assessments - Testing and evaluation of worker exposure to hazardous chemicals and trace gases
  5. Indoor air quality surveys - Sampling for indoor air pollutants such as carbon monoxide, volatile organics, and microbiological contaminants. Evaluation of HVAC fresh air delivery and compliance with ASHRAE, NIOSH, and OSHA guidelines or requirements.
  6. Leed IAQ Testing - Indoor Air Quality management plan and baseline IAQ testing for LEED EQ 3.2 credit.
  7. Mold Surveys - Sampling for mold as part of a comprehensive indoor environmental survey.
  8. Training and Seminars - A variety of courses or seminars available. Course topics include mold evaluation and remediation, infection control for the construction contractor, and hazard awareness and compliance with the OSHA HAZWOPER standard.
  9. OSHA Compliance assistance - Performance review, employee exposure assessments, and compliance review of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations.
  10. Expert witness testimony - Indoor Air Quality, mold contamination, infection control, and employee exposure assessments,workers' compensation and toxic tort.
